The Vision Pro Chassis Full Top Cover, manufactured by VISION Products, is the perfect enhancement for your Vision Pro Chassis, offering both durability, added stiffness, and a sleek finish. Constructed from billet 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, this top cover is designed to strengthen the forend, ultimately killing off the vibrations that can be experienced in some chassis. Interfacing with our 20 MOA picatinny rails, it allows seamless mounting of accessories. To perfectly match your Vision Pro Chassis, these are offered in the same Cerakote Elite Colors as the chassis itself: Black, Carbon Gray and FDE.

Choosing the correct rail:
1: Model/Length
The full length top cover is available in the five different Pro Chassis models/lengths. To fully enclose the entire forend, choose the top-cover that matches your chassis model/length
Shorter top covers are compatible with longer chassis, but will of course not enclose the entire forend length.
2: IP = No Cutout vs EP = Cutout?
This top cover comes in two different cutout configurations, your choice here depends on if your action has a built in picatinny rail or if it has an extended picatinny rail. The entire difference in the two versions is that the extended picatinny one has a cutout for an extending picatinny rail from the action.
Is it for a Long Action or Tikka Chassis? = The EP Cutout rail version is the correct one for you.
Does your Short action have a picatinny rail that extenders beyond the edge of the action towards the muzzle? = The EP Cutout rail version is the correct one for you.
Does your Short action have a picatinny rail that does not extend beyond the action? = Either version will work, but the IP no cutout version will have the best appearance.
Are you using a shorter top cover for a longer chassis? Example: SBR 7 Top cover on an Alpha 9 Chassis = Either version will work, but the IP no cutout version will have the best appearance.
Vibration killer
Precision rifle chassis are known for having vibrations, you could look at the a traditional chassis forend as a tuning fork. This can be noticed by hearing a ringing noise, or seeing/feeling the vibrations just after the shot goes off. The downside of this is that the entire rifle will have slight movement, and it will feel like the shot duration is longer, which can make it more difficult to spot your impacts.
In our Pro Chassis we did everything possible to minimize these vibrations by selecting premium 7075 aluminum and by designing the structure of the forend for maximal stiffness. Our top cover is the icing on the cake, machined out of the same 7075 aluminum, pinning and fastening it to the Pro Chassis kills off even more vibrations, ultimately giving it a unique dead feel.
