NEW STANDARD SURFACE FINISH
Today we have some exciting news to share with you.
From now on out every “main part” of the vision chassis will come standard cerakoted in Armor black.
Main parts includes:
- Mid section
- Forend
- Buttstock
- top covers
- night vision bridges
- Magazine release
- Adjustable shoulderrest
- Brackets
- Bagrider
- Binder plate
- Etc.
Will still be anodized.
The reason we have decided to move away from anodizing is to get a much better end product where all of the main parts are 100% color matched.
And by doing this we can guarantee that a part bought today and a part bought 1 year from now will be a perfect color match.
Keep in mind this may take some time to hit your local dealer, and we can’t guarantee a perfect transition from full anodized chassis to full cerakoted chassis.
CERAKOTE INFORMATION
Cerakote is a specialized coating that can be applied to wood, polymers, metals, and plastics that is composed of a polymer-ceramic compound.
The ceramic coating benefits the firearm by providing and enhancing physical components including:
- Improving the wear and tear over time
- Providing abrasion, corrosion, and chemical resistance
- Improving strength and durability
