New screws and cheekrest
Upgraded Screws
We are pleased to announce that from now on out all visible screws on 99% of our product line has been switched from black carbon steel to black stainless steel screws.
This means that from now on out there will be a 0% possibility of anything on our products corroding.
And since most of the screws are switched to torx (which is the same worldwide) it will be easier for all of our customers, no matter where you are in the world, to adjust and modify the chassis.
Here is a list of a few exceptions:
- All action screws are raw stainless steel metric hexagon socket head (except remington which is imperial)
- All socket head set / grub screws are still metric
- Ai chassis top cover screws are still imperial but switched to black stainless steel
Replacement screw sets will be uploaded to the site shortly, which gives everyone that already owns any of our products the possibility to upgrade to black stainless steel.
New Cheekrest
We are also excited to announce that every buttstock from now on out will be shipped with our new cheekrest.
Our new cheekrest can get closer to the buttstock for everyone with a low scope mount, and has the possibility to easily (with the twist of a set screw) be adjusted horizontally to better fit everyones preference.
This will also be available for purchase for everyone that wishes to upgrade from the old one.
Keep in mind that dealers may still have inventory of the old screws and cheekrests, and these upgrades may take som time to hit the market.
